November 13, 2024I'm curious to some specs on noise level. We replaced our almost 40 year old furnace with this one. This one seems to be louder than the last - surprising and not what I was expecting. I'll have the installers take a look but nothing sounds like it's misfiring, just a very loud fan. It heats the house quickly but have yet to experience the variable speed - just seems to be on or off. Maybe that's because it's winter and the variable speed is more with the AC - we also got a new condenser as well. Can't help but wonder if the installers screwed up somewhere. Also not an expert in this field. Don't love the furnace, yet. We purchased through Costco, loved the price, not sure I'd do it again, though.
